i made a 24aud lunch purchase today then after 3hrs i went back to same store with the code and receipt from lunch purchase, i asked for large chips and drink but didn't order anything to add. All i wanted was free chips n drinks. But manager declined.
She said i must make a purchase to use this code for free chips n drink. Is it how it supposed to work?

Tips. If you really have to, just hang around at busy KFC and you will be able to pick used receipt from table or floor and quickly do the survey. Done.
What I usually bought is 6 chicken wings. Enough for me.
Very surprised lots of people don't know about it and/or how it works
Basically you must spend at least $4.95 for small chips & 375ml soft drink, juice or water and at least $19.95 for large chips & 1.25l drink.
Each time I got the free drink and chips, I've only been given the 750'll drink.
They won't insist it's only the can or the next size up drink.
well if they inputted it correctly to the order, it shows 1.25L bottle for the large drink, not 600ml unless you opted for something else besides soft drink.

Didn't opt for anything else, just the free chips and drink on the survey code.
A couple of things I've found out about the KFC feedback…
1) They never bother actually checking the code, just take the receipt off me and put it on a pile for a manager to look at later.
2) The website doesn't actually need proper details to be entered, just needs each field to be populated so the "fill it out 3 days" is bullshit.
Recently, I've been keeping my receipt in my glovebox and just scribble 5 random characters (alpha-numeric) on the receipt whilst sitting in the drive thru. Never had a problem.
It's True you have to do the survey within certain days otherwise it won't let you continue. Yeah busy stores staffs never check but smaller ones maybe.
I've put in dates that are weeks old. Anyway, you can just put a fake date.

Sometimes we get suspicious and can check the number as well as the original receipt and if it doesn't match up we wont accept it…
There is a very easy way that staff should be trained to check the authenticity of the code, but seems the store you went to dont do it.
