Aldi is new over here in WA and with a party coming up, I'm just wondering if anyone has tried their beers and can suggest any (and any to avoid)?
Cheers

There's an Aldi liquor store at Tweed Heads if you're down that way.
I don't mind the Storm Premium Light & Super Dry varieties…cheap as chips & not bad at all! I haven't tried the Pale Ale yet, I must give it a go! :)
Slab of Storm Super Dry is my favourite. Goes down well and is cheap :)
My choice would be Sainte Etienne Imported Premium Lager 24 x 330mL for $29.99 (4.8% I think)
Made in France which, as we all know, is famous for making wine.
Probably best described by Aldi - "Sainte Etienne is a fully imported, full flavoured premium lager at a stellar price"
Are the Aldi liquor areas usually in the same proximity as the rest of the shop or is it in a separate building (if it has one that is)?
usually in store
usually near the cash registers
You just can't go wrong with Tiger Beer and Singha Beer :)
Where is there a Aldi liquor store in Perth . I heard they weren't opening any here
go for the Fraser Briggs Premium Larger Brewed in New Zealand around $32 a slab you cannot go wrong
I really like the Rivet (blue case of 24 cans for ~$27 made in Vietnam - from memory). An unpretentious lager I.e. not glamorous, but true to lager roots. No horrible headache the next day. It's my go-to beer when I'm near an Aldi that sells booze - I'm in QLD so no aldi booze.
