  • Great deal! Thanks!

    • -1

This is a textbook ozbargain deal, requires customers to:
      - perform a task to be eligible for the deal (register)
      - redeem a code/voucher to create bargain
      - attend the nearest store to collect said bargain (usually to save on shipping costs)

      Thanks op!
With 16 packs, I don't need to be a tightarse with wiping my own arse

      • +4

16 packs? If DRS pulls the offer then you'll be a major culprit.

You forget to mention another element of the classic OzBargain deal ……….. there's always someone who can't show restraint and tries to Broden a deal possibly ruining it for others.

        • +1

+1 for the Broden ref ;-)

    • Awesome deal, ordered 7 x Dove soaps for 53c total @ store pickup. Thanks OP

  • +1

Im sorry im bad at maths but how does $6.99 - $5 = 99c?

    • +3

I was wondering that too but at checkout, it comes down to 99 cents for some reason.

      • Really? cool

        • yeah, 99c

      • +1

They have some members specials at the moment, one of which is this for $5.99 so then it becomes .99

  • +1

    3c/100 sheets!!

    • +1

100 sheets would take me 100 days.

      • +2

So this should keep you going for over 7 years.

      • +4

a sheet a day? Assuming this is at least 2ply, that's front & back of each = 4 wipes/day you really do poo a lot.

  • Damn, just signed up, didn't receive no voucher. How far completed should your profile be? Thanks!
    .

    • +10

      didn't receive no voucher

      So you got one?

      • Yes, I never got any.

    • It said you have to fill in the details on the second screen (on mobile site) including DOB and postcode.

  • From the voucher deal:

Discounts are not applicable to items already on sale

    • +1

      Well it still worked. Thanks!

  • +7

      • +1

  • +3

Is this the one that disintegrates upon moisture?

    • Cottonelle isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

      • -4

As long as you don't mind brown hands. Of course.

Just the same as buying condoms, if it doesn't contain it's contents, is it still a bargain?

        • +4

Perhaps you need to buy smaller sized condoms.

    • *Moisture not required

  • +8

    good shit

    • +2

I'm looking forward to it too

    • +2

This deals going down the toilet.

  • Anyone else not seeing a payment option other than credit card?
    Cash in-store/PayPal?

    • +2

I didn't see anything else. Paid with CC.

  • Thanks OP will be going to pick it up tomorrow. Surprised I had to nominate a specific time to go instore and pick it up though.

    • Yeah same. I just chose a time before I'll get there as I don't know precisely when I'll be there.

  • -1

I can't change the credit card from NAB and it seems to be a problem as I put in my correct details but it declines.

    • I used citi and it was fine :O

    • I couldn't either but I somehow manage to process an order. If you are using auto fill card details on chrome like I do, delete a number from the card line and manually type it again and try it again.

    • I used ANZ and it processed

      • It has "Credit Card (NAB)" preselected and I cannot change it. I'm with Commonwealth could that be a reason?

        • +3

Maybe NAB is who they use to process credit card transactions at their end

        • @shmahoo: I think this is the case.. I'm pretty sure it's got nothing to do with what card we're using to pay lol

  • +3

Thanks. Bought 2 x Rexona sports deodorant for free
    http://www.discountdrugstores.com.au/rexona-anti-perspirant-…
$2.99 each but also takes $0.50 off each in cart so it $4.98 less $5 = free

    • Terrific find, thanks!

  • Grabbed two of the shower gels. Less than five bucks so no CC required.

  • Not in SA unfortunately.

  • +1

Guys you can get free condoms

i say it to you, my fellow OzBargainers, rather than take that route myself as i never root and hence would never use them :/

    • I already have one child because we were too lazy to use condoms, why start now? :P

  • I signed up and when i go see vouchers it says none available.. and i didnt get an email.. so… where is this voucher thing meant to appear fellas?

    • you dont get email. It appears when you are ready to enter your card details for order.

    • +1

When signing up did you fill in the 'Tell us more' bit?
Voucher showed straight away in account for me, an email arrived ~10mins after sign-up mentioning the voucher.

      • I did that, yeah

And it doesnt appear at checkout. I think the deal is expired maybe?

        • Made an account after your comment and the voucher showed in my account as I said. Was able to use it also.

        • @awoff1: Weird.. no idea.. just didnt work for me for whatever reason :/

          Cheers anyways for info

  • Same

  • Thanks so much, great deal

  • thanks!

  • +2

    Worst toilet paper ever!!!
May as well just use your fingers to wipe

  • -1

The price is great - but Cottonelle used to be so much better. They came out with new Cottonelle (can't remember when) and claimed it was lighter - which was code for thinner. It's now single ply. Sh-thouse

    http://www.news.com.au/finance/business/retail/australia-has…

  • +1

Says the code is not valid when I click it on the checkout page? Can somebody help pls

edit: nvm I didn't click the checkbox

  • thanks alot!

  • I just got a free shampoo and conditioner from the 5 buck thing that I'll swing by and grab tomorrow morning when I'm heading there for a haircut next door anyway.

Can't complain about the price, can you?

    • Same here. Got 2 free shower gels!

  • thanks op…bought one!!

  • nice find

  • -6

    Terrible product!

It rips in the middle of the sheet, instead of at the seam. How could they get it SO wrong?

-ve vote is for "Defective product" as per rules.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

    • -3

      silly nub

    • +1

Agreed, worst toilet tissue ever used.

    • +1

"It rips in the middle of the sheet, instead of at the seam. How could they get it SO wrong?"

Been using it for a couple of years and don't have a problem with it. Certainly negging it as a bad deal for 99c for a packet is just ridiculous.

      • +1

Mine doesn't rip I the middle. I take a metre of paper, double it a few times etc. Won't go into gory details….

  • +3

Butt sheet, it was 99 cent!

  • +1

Damn it! Only after I've provided them my info have I realized they don't have stores in SA & NT. OP, please state in title SA & NT are excluded or something.

  • +3

I'm not sure if discountdrugstore will keep this $5 promo going seeing the continuous membership accounts made

  • +1

Have anyone tried to create multiple accounts to receive many vouchers?

    • I created two accounts one for each of the two stores I drive past on my way home, and I created two more for my wife. $3.96 for 64 rolls is quite good IMO

    • Is the signup deal supposed to be limited to one household or one person? Would like to sign up for more than one person in household but I don't want to get banned for having same address.

      • +1

I've already picked up my stuff and I used 123 Fake Street as the address, use whatever you want man :)

Edit: Shit, I don't know how you'd go with delivery, I just used in store pick up, ignore me :))

        • Dont they check your ID? If address dont match wont they reject?

  • To get this deal, do I need to sign up for a new account? (I already have an account with them)

    • Yes. For the $5 voucher.

  • deal over its for 6.99 now :(

    • even once you add to cart? When I ordered it was a price of $6.99 then a $1 discount when added to cart then apply the $5 to get 99c

  • Is it just me or are there others out there that hate Cottonelle?

I think there are very few sheets per roll, the paper is very soft so easily breaks. It's very powdery so you end up with powdery dust all over the floor and/or your arse.

    I prefer the Quilton equivalent.

In all honesty though, I mostly buy the Aldi 3 ply 12 pack - it's the right compromise between strength and softness for me.

    • Is it just me or will people find something to whine about on every single deal on Ozbargain no matter how cheap it is.

      • Good/Bad… we wanted cheap stuff.. but we want quality too.. Else we will have more junk sitting at home even if it's free.

    • Aldi 3 ply 12 pack

So do I but this was $0.99 for 16 pack. No brainer really.

  • Toilet paper says out-of-stock? or is it just VIC?

*actually, I think most of the member priced item listed(except Deodorant) by OP are out of stock? how do we know what is member priced items?

  • -6

Just a heads up to everyone, as always they are buying and selling your info data for 5 bucks + 16 paper rolls. No for me

    • Can't you say that with every other deal that requires registration? I wouldn't be surprised if they did nor with other companies but I don't think it's fair to neg this deal for that.

      • Exactly, thats why I feel the same for other sign ups. If the perk is good enough for the info you trade, then go for it. Otherwise dont. Just think some people might not be aware of this like I used to be

  • I reckon they've stopped giving that $5 voucher. Just signed up; disappointed as I didn't receive the voucher :(

    • I just signed up, the voucher shows up under "Club Member" and on checkout. but I think all the club member specials are gone/

  • +3

We should probably upvote this deal seeing as this is the basis of this deal!

    • +1

Just noticed OP is the same.. lol

  • The store I nominated (Thomastown, Vic) was inundated and overwhelmed by the amount of orders for toilet paper they received and consequently do not have enough stock to fulfil all orders. So don't bother trying today because they have none left, said they'll receive more stock by Monday.

    • Got an email from my local store saying they were sold out, but it will available tomorrow. :-0

      • Similar situation here. More stock arriving 2nd August. I can't wait.

    • are they stock up yet? (same store thomastown) went there on saturday and it was out of stock
