Porting out Number from Telstra Pre-Paid Plan for Tablet

Hi all,

I just realised (when trying to activate a Telstra pre-paid SIM) that I can't choose plan for Tablet (which will give me 3GB of data without any cap value for call) when I am porting in my own number. I end up using new number. My question is, can I port this number out? Thanks.

  Yes you can, I have done so before.

  But if you are using that number for a tablet which doesn't make or receive calls, does keeping it matter?

  greenpossum, it doesn't really matter it is just so that I don't have so many numbers activated.

  if you want to get rid of the number, go on livechat and get them to do it.
