Is there a deal where, instead of the speakers, we get our bigger pringles cans back?

    Kind regards,

    Consumer

    • They are reducing the size because they care about our health.

      • Changed from Kelloggs @ 150g to Stuart Alexander @ 134g

      • They are reducing the size because they care about our health.

I thought it was for the same reason Cadbury gave us, that it was requested by it's customers !!

      • +1

The prices aren't getting lower, they're conning the customers.

        • +2

          Whoosh.

@28Degrees: hahah i knew what you meant there mate, it's alright. Not everyone is as bright as us ;)

Personally, I'm not buying them anymore. The Coles Brand ones are filling that void left in my diet.

      • they aren't too bad, and they dropped the price down to $1.80, how can an ozbargainer go past that

      • +2

Now if only someone could come out with a range of Shapes that are as close as possible to what the Arnotts ones used to be.

    • +1

I stopped buying when they shrunk from 190g to 150g.

      • both of them?

        • Hm?

        • @gilbarc: Did both of them shrink because of eating pringles?

    • +4

even the container are smaller making it harder to to reach to get the chips…

      • +5

maybe your hands have grown bigger? just saying….

          in the past week?
          Stop spamming.

I hope it's not just a pringles can with a mobile phone nook cut into it as an acoustic amplifier…

    • Check the picture, it's a speaker that fixes to the end, and has a 3.5mm socket.

It's an amplified speaker as it requires batteries

      • Sorry, I meant it as a joke :p

        • Pfft :P

Apologising for jokes is not cool…

    This review of the 2011 version was impressive;

…focuses on the response in the range from 1.8 to 4 kHz, in which the Pringles can speaker measures ±0.5 dB. This is at least as good as some of the industry’s most highly respected speakers, like the Revel Salon2. The Pringles speaker’s achievement is even more remarkable when you consider the Revel costs $22,000 per pair and was created in a multimillion-dollar research and development facility.

Compare the two in terms of performance-to-price ratio. If the Revel’s performance ranks 10 on a scale of 10 and it costs $22K, its P2P ratio is 0.00045. If the Pringles can speaker’s performance ranks a 1 but it costs $0, its P2P ratio is infinite

Hahaha, thoroughly comprehensive and utterly unbiased review! The Pringles speaker is truely cutting edge pioneering technology!

      • It really is. Its amazing what a single driver can do with wnough expansion space.
Have you ever pulled apart a set of Logitech speakers? For most people, this is the entry level for 'OK speakers'.
They're VERY cheap 1~2" drivers you can source from anywhere.

They're the same sort of thing in this deal, biggest change? a large pringles can to help 'deepen the sound'

Totally worth the $5 if you're a beach person or something :)

    Typical, discriminate against the minorities.
Next they will construct a wall!

  • +1

the speaker itself is worth less than they charge for postage.

  • Description & comments from last year's deal delivered to your home within 60 days

Once again, I'll keep my $5 & put it towards something better 😯

(Spent my $5 soon after last years "free" Pringles speaker deal on reasonable sounding Veho Bluetooth speaker from JB sale for $5.50 including delivery.)
