Complex cup with a nippy berry/currant acidity & flavours of blackberry & pepper up front. Buttery body with spicy notes that linger in a creamy finish.

Nicaragua Diamond Microlot
Region: Matagalpa, Jinotega
Processing: Fully Washed
Sweet juicy cup with a delicate raspberry acid. Black tea notes go into a honey malt finish.

      myth. don't do it.
      Just a cool (not freezing) , dark and dry place will be fine. consume within 6 weeks.

      I used to freeze, but now I'm with everyone else - don't freeze, just buy smaller quantities as you need them.

      I found just leaving sealed in a cool, dry place to be good for up to 2 months. It will lose a smidge of the subtlety of flavour i.e. those notes of "chocolate", "toffee", etc that sounds like oh-so-much hipster wankery, will become more muted. Will still be 1000x better than buying supermarket beans though.

      For more than 3 months … honestly, buy in smaller lots. Freezing can definitely help here - I accidentally left a 250g bag in the bottom of my freezer for over a year. It was still good, but definitely had lost a lot of what makes it good coffee.

      Hi Cor80. I appreciate your thought train and not arguing your neg vote, but it should be noted that on the whole these are different coffees each time. The coffee in this deal I haven't tried before so I'm thankful that the OP is willing to offer something new at a consistent price point. This is a great way to try different coffees from all over the world and discover those to your taste.

      Cor80, It's not quite true to say it's the 'regular price'. If you were to buy on their website each 500g bag would be over $26.95, so this is a special deal for OzBargain, even though similar deals are regularly offered.
