So work has given me an iphone which has all calls/data paid for.
I still use my personal number to receive a few calls every now and then for my business. I have since changed this number from a plan to a prepaid sim to keep the costs down and it is currently in a spare phone. When I miss a call on this phone, I normally call them back on my work sim. I don't like carrying two phones.
I also have an ipad 2nd Gen with prepaid data sim that is supplied through work.
I would like to consolidate the prepaid data sim and the prepaid personal sim into a new (dual sim) tablet/phablet that I can use for work and occasionally receive the odd text message/call/voicemail from my personal number. I was hoping that I could have the ipad sim as the primary for general tablet use and then the personal sim as the secondary to receive calls/voicemails/texts when they come through.
I like the Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro Prime Optimus Prime Prime but I think that 5.5" is probably a little too small. I am hoping for something around the 7" mark. I also would like to dive into android and am hoping this can start to pull me away from the tentacles of the apple ecosystem.
I am also looking for a bargain but realistically convenience is more important at the moment.
Any help is appreciated.
hmmm. I would recommend the mega optimus prime.
Just kidding. Why not Xiaomi Max ? it's got a 6.44 inch screen. Has appeared on Ozbargain at least once.
