A courtesy post to jb for not honouring their initial wicked Wednesday sale when returning a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT 2 days later, so I took the refund and bought the newer JBL charge 3 model that is cheaper, better and not even available in Australia yet. Good for early birds considering the RRP is 150USD and no retail outlet ever being this cheap.

I bought the jbl charge 2+ on Wednesday and was impressed by what it can do and offer, so I was willing to spend more on this new and improved version that just came out about 2 months ago.

The design is improved over the jbl charge 2+ where it is completely WATERPROOF/floats, louder, lasts 20 hrs, hard shaped buttons and having the social feature on 24/7 without the need to switch modes.

JB are selling the jbl charge 2+ for $250 and we're probably not gonna see it cheaper than that even if they do stock the charge 3… unless its an xmas/stocktake sale which will probably be on par with online pricing anyway… So why wait?

This is an grey import site where we don't have to pay GST and they offer free dhl to metro Australia which is guaranteed to arrive within a week when posted.
I bought it this Friday morning, dhl has already picked it up and the estimate arrival is Tuesday.

The jbl xtreme and charge 2+ are also alot cheaper than any retail outlet if you missed out on any of the sales.

    I didn't even know of its existence till today, thankfully the jb employer sucked and gave me the time to get up to date :)

    Just for people worried about scams/review etc.
    Any site that accepts paypal are generally honest businesses and you can always use their online chat to confirm stock if no patience.

    I checked the reviews on youtube,charge 3 has better water proof leads to the sound not as clear as charge 2+.

  Thanks OP,it is a good price.I already got a charge 2+ from DWI last week as well.Compare to my bose soundlink mini,the bass is weaker,however you won't feel tired after listen to it for a long time.Besides it has more open sound,much better performance at my working warehouse,the soundlink mini only has best sound when you are facing it.There is a problem,chargeing is slow,maybe because the battery is huge(6000mah)?

    We're probably spoiled by the 1-2 hr quick charge from mobiles lol.
    2-4hrs is generally the standard for most electronics but you can just use a portable battery bank if not close to an AC outlet, whereas the $300 xtreme does not accept micro usb charging at all.

    Sound probably not as clean cause of the waterproofing but the upgrade to Bluetooth 4 for improve range and it being louder justifies it abit. Maybe jbl can improve sound quality by taking off the waterproof cloaking but it's part of the selling point.

  Got mine today and love it, no faults this time :D Also I don't notice any lip syncing problems with the S7 while playing some music videos.

  Make sure you download this and test all frequencies when first open and use.

  The charge 2+ that I got from jb had 60-79hz faulty and had to return it. I didn't know it was damaged thinking it was the songs at first so it is best to test it with the app to be sure.
