Fouth'ed - search for more: they take money and then do not deliver.
The dispute process is played out for the maximum time so they can hang on to your money as long as possible.
Last complaint I read eBay wasn't refunding someone.
Avoid.
No idea why their deals are still allowed with the number of complaints on this site.
If you have major issues with a retailer, neg the deal. That's what the negative vote button is there for.
Replying to the top-level comment, but this applies to everyone who has problems with PC Byte, as nobody seems to have read the Voting Guidelines.
Despite being labeled a liar by another poster, I will say this again; PC Byte is a front for multiple businesses. It is possible you will receive your order from multiple different businesses which makes warranty an absolute nightmare. Is actually went looking for my invoices and confirmed my suspicions; from the order I placed with them, I have the eBay invoice and invoices from two of the three businesses that supplied the order. The video card I ordered arrived without a box, wrapped in bubble wrap. The hard disks came from two different stores and were bubbles wrapped with no boxes nor clamshell.
Pay the extra $29 and consider it insurance against delays and poor shipping practices.
Thanks for posting the deal. I need new drives for my NAS, so I took a punt. We'll see how it goes.
Just FYI to all, my drives arrived today. Packaged okay and two days earlier than estimated delivery. No actual communication with the seller though - just the self-generated eBay sale confirmation. Would've been nice to know that they had actually shipped.
I didn't realise that there was so much hate towards PC Byte here. Not saying people here are wrong as I hate Futu Online/Shopping Express on how they treated me when I got my faulty DOA micro server.
Just to follow up I got my HDD's this morning via express registered post. Each HDD wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap in a box with foam inserts. I think they could have done a little better with the bubble wrap but happy with the speed of delivery. I didn't get a tax invoice though. Will be testing the HDD's out tonight to make sure all is good.
