I spent 4.99 and the cashier was silent for 5 seconds, and then she said cool, you dont have to pay anything
last time i tried doing that they said i have to spend over $5 so their pos machine can deduct the voucher amount.. so i bought something worth 5.99 or so and paid a few cents
thats correct, they cant have the pos negative.
You only can do it if the POS show 0.
So if you buy an item for $4.98 or $4.99 (will be rounded to 0 in their pos), you'll get it for free :)

I have much worse initial impression of the name of this club.
I literally thought it is an online brothel. I was thinking that Priceline is bold enough to have promotional association with one.
It is a stupid name - however if you sign up you can get a Priceline Brother card if you'd prefer.
And the first choice for Title is Mr… now I'm confused.

I'm not confused - I ticked the Brothers card.
It used to be just Priceline club card; I have the old card still. I guess their primary demographic is women so they changed it. Still they have a brothers card now at least.
Does anyone know how long it takes after you sign up online for the voucher to be emailed to you?
I signed up online & received the $5 voucher in about 2 days but i still haven't received my physical card. Does it mean i can't use the voucher without the membership card? so it is pointless to sign up online.
I ended up getting mine after two days as well and used it straight away. The lady at the counter said that I should have brought in my card with it, but after I gave her my email address she was able to look me up on the system and process the voucher straight away.

How long does it take to receive the membership card in the post? There isn't a barcode or voucher sent in the email anymore. The $5 is loaded onto the membership card now.
