How many recalls will it take for people to stop buying SCA branded jacks and car stands? Seems like there's one every couple of months now.

  I didn't buy one. However this is the first time that I have heard of an SCA recall. I don't think it makes the front page of the national news each time.

Does it only affect the jack from that set? I bought an individual jack that looks identical…

While it's good that this product is being recalled, people need to remember to never, ever get under a vehicle supported only by a jack.
