Moving Goods Interstate: SYD - BNE

Hi fellow OzBargainers,

Need to transport some clothes, books & misc. personal belongings from Sydney to Brisbane. They're already packed in shipping card boxes. Altogether about 10-12 cubic metres of stuff to move. What's the cheapest way to do it?

I've got some quotes from removalists, but they seem expensive (close to $1000). Also, removalists might be overkill for the job because:

• No furnitures or appliances to pack
• Stuff already packed in shipping card boxes
• Unpacking service not needed
• Not urgent, don't need next-day delivery

p.s. Would not consider driving a truck myself :)
