We are family of 4 adults and 2 kids (3.5yrs and 1.5yrs old) planning to book a week vacation at Gold Coast. Travel period in Nov or Dec.
Need to find cheapest flight deals from Sydney to GC along with the 2 bedroom apartment.

10km from GC? It's 57km long ribbon development. I'm assuming you mean Surfers Paradise.
I have no idea on price sorry OP (grew up there). I would suggest Nobby's Beach or Burleigh as a base. That may be too far away from Surfers for you but they are nicer areas IMHO (or at least were 10 years ago).

Flights will be cheaper if you complete your trip before the middle of December. But to avoid Schoolies you should come back before 18 November.

If you can manage carry on only you will save about $40 per person.
There is a current sale for $35 but the travel period is 09 aug - 15 sep.
For a good value 2 bedroom apartment in a good location maybe try Main Beach or Burleigh Heads. Also have a look at booking with AirBNB.

@electricbluee: basically just a webchat. But you need to firstly check there are Jetstar flights within an hour of the Tiger flights.
Cheapest way to get there for 6 of you is by own car. Ensure that you guys are comfortable driving long distance.
Stay around 10kms from GC and you can get really good price.
