  Shock-corded aluminium poles fitting into connectors & the lot goes into the fabric seat… Something will give if a hefty person sits in it or material degrades.

      I don't think I'd trust this cheap copy. It may be cheap, but 1 minor fault in this chair & it's landfill, plus possible injury.

  The original, I think, is the Helinox (brand).
  The Helinox is around $90 from memory and is a great unit.
  There are many knock offs, of which, I think this is one.
  Many of the knock offs get lots of complains due to shoddy quality.

  I cycle tour and own a Helinox chair.
  Very happy with it.
