Big W / Target / K-Mart / Toys R Us
All possible options, and ones where you can see and touch and try on the helmet
en1078 is good enough for 742mil people.
Aldi had some last week.
As Spackbace says, Big W, Target and K-mart all have very reasonable helmets at decent prices. Get one from a good brand that fits your head.
Whatever you do, ALWAYS buy a brand!
Why? They are all tested to the same standard and cannot be sold from an Aussie retail outlet without the AS approval.
Just buy one that fits your head well. Some do and some don't. My Aldi helmet, as a backup, is a bit short and wide for my head but is ok if my other helmet gets wet. The other helmets I have bought just happen to be mid priced. I've gone into a bike shop, tried a few on and bought the one that fits nicest. This luckily hasn't been the most expensive, but hasn't been the cheapest either.
That actually looks like a good helmet, I need one too. Thanks OP!
Actually, I just grabbed a nice helmet from BigW AU standard and lifetime warranty down to $19 from $29. Go with it.
Thanks for the tip. Will definitely check them out!
The fine is $319.00 for not wearing a helmet.
And you have to carry photo ID apparently
The ID thing in NSW isn't law… Yet. They postponed it.
Think about the value of your head. Buy accordingly.
I found my helmet in the council clean up, what does that say about my head?
Does it meet Australian standards?
Bigw has helmets around this price (from memory) that will meet requirements.
