Hi Guys, looking for some advice. I am travelling to the USA (Florida) in mid-August and I want to get a SIM card either for voice/data or even just for data, so that I can use my phone while I'm there to:
1) Order cars via UBER
2) Use GPS on my phone
3) Make calls (rarely)
4) Receive calls (voip is OK)
Can anyone relate any experiences they have?
As far as I can see, I could use something like Travelsim, or I could buy a pre-paid sim card once I get to the USA and top-up as required.
I would be interested to hear if anyone has tried either of these options, or something else.
I may also be returning to the US in mid-October, so it would be good to be able to use the same service on the second trip also.
Thanks in advance.
I was only thinking this morning that I have not seen a post from Travel Sims Direct for a while whom I've used on a number of occasions previously. As I will again need one for October/November it is hoped these guys will have a special soon.
