Is this deal better than the Fujifilm x-t10 with Teds camera considering they are quite similar mirrorless cameras? Does anyone have a preference between these two models?
The EM10ii with kit lens is like half the price of an X-T10.
The fuji is an APS-C size sensor (1.5x crop), this is micro 4/3 (2x crop factor).
4/3 lenses are generally smaller, lighter and cheaper than the equivalent Fuji (PRO lenses may not necessarily follow this trend)
I have an EM10ii and it's an amazing camera for the price. The X-T10 isn't anywhere near the same price point, and though I also personally love Fuji colours and picture quality I don't see the justification for the higher price and larger size for my particular requirements (carry around/happy snaps/travel camera). They're both mirrorless cameras, but they fill very different criteria
I'd still get XT-10 over this.
My wallet isn't as big as yours
@nytrojen: my wallet is broke bro! :P
Can only drool over…
Not necessarily half price. Kit 20% off $1400 that's $1120, plus $200 CB brings it down to $920. If you're planning to travel overseas, another $100 GST off. So at the end $800+, just $100 more than EM10ii :)
you'll get the GST off the e-m10 too ;)
@aldoduco: Even though the difference is still less than, say, $200!
Thoughts on which is better….this or a Sony A6000?
I think m43 has a better selection of lenses so that'd be my pick.
Just another noob question….. How is this compare to Canon EOS M3, they're on special too, $564 after cashback?
Canon/Nikon are not as good as Sony/Fuji when it comes to mirrorless system, not to mention Pana/Oly.
Thx for your info.
That's a good price considering it includes that lens.
Cheers. But the bullet and bought one. Time to retire the EPL2!!
Thats a pretty good price. Considering the EZ zoom is ~$200 on its own, $550 is pretty good for that body.
