Looking for decent 8 inch and above tab either nvidia shield xiaomi mi pad 1/2 an asus zenpad s or nexus 9. Samsung galaxy tab s and s2 range if the price is right.
Also what other tablets have 3 to 4 gb of ram.

Another alternative is the Sony Z4 Tablet. Seems to cost $800 outright - but you can get it for $696 (spread over 24 months) from Telstra with a GB of month of data.
I normally prefer to buy outright, as don't like to have any network branding on my devices, but the Telstra offering seems pretty competitive (I'd be planning to use mine around the house, so the bonus data would just be, well, a bonus).
anybody got a spare nexus 9 or nvidia shield tab they wanna sell me. I have located a cheap tab s2 on gumtree though so i might go with that
I think you'd have a hard time finding a Nvidia shield tablet deal. I think with new Shield tablet on the horizon, it'd be hard to (an article was saying that it passed FCC certification, that article was from was 3 days ago).
