I'm wondering if anyone has any idea on what monitor I should get (as a gift).
Requirements
Other than that, not really too fussed as it will mainly be used for studying, watching youtube videos etc.
Budget of around 250?

$250 is the bare minimum for a budget 27" LCD monitor

These monitors are of course, all TN panels. Don't expect great colours or amazing viewing angles.
i think budget is too low for 27" unless you are happy with only VGA connectors? not sure.
i also waiting for good deal super wide panorama style monitors that are big enough but cheap enough, so i dont have to get two but still can have multiple side by side apps open at the same time. not for gaming.
