Inspire Memory Foam Pillow @ $12 (57% off) at Woolworths

210

This is the best price I have seen for a memory foam pillow. The next cheapest in any store at the moment is north of $25, barring eBay sellers from China of course. Looks like a great deal. Purchased two from West Ryde (NSW) store today and they were going quite fast. Not sure about availability in other stores but since it has been advertised on Woolworths website, all stores should have them unless they have been sold out.

  • Do you use them on there own or with normal pillow not had one before.

    • +1

On their own, just like a normal pillow. Use the normal pillow case/cover for it.

  • My experience with these things is that they are too hot to sleep on (even when they have cooling gel injected).

Be wary if you enjoy a "cool" pillow.

I am new to the pillow, but I have been using memory foam mattress for a while and I don't feel the difference much in terms of temperature.

Maybe you're just got a cool head

        • Guess they make him level headed

One on the above link is 'Shredded Memory Foam' pillow and other one is 'Memory Foam Surround' pillow. They don't sound quite similar to the one posted here though.

Are ok, just remember seeing them in store and they felt the same as a normal Memory Foam pillow.

  • Add a bit more money and buy a latex pillow will last you a lifetime.

    • Thanks.. How long do memory foam pillows go for generally? There's no expiry date mentioned as far as I remember.

      • How long do memory foam pillows go

Not sure, but they're not as comfortable as latex pillow.

        • Comfort to price ratio is one of the highest though with these pillows, you reckon? :-)

        • Except, of course, if you find memory foam MORE comfortable. #deadset

        • It's a preference. I prefer memory foam.

The size of this pillow is smaller than Tontine's. Not negating, still a bargain, just info.

    • Thanks for the insight. It helps.

  • does this one have a good weight for better support? most cheapie memory foam pillows tend to be too light for me.

    • +1

Light as in too soft instead of hard? It's hard enough if that's what it meant.

  • It says "unavailable" to me. is it in-store only?

    • I purchased them in-store. Not sure if it's available for sale online.

    • Your online login is linked to a store, which I assume does inventory checks.
If you logout, you will get the default, for me it defaults to Marrickville.
It's unavailable for me when logged in, $28 when logged out. Hope that helps.

  • How do these compare to dunlopillo? I have had a dunlopillo for the last 3 years (thanks to ozbargain) and I can't sleep without it anymore. Amazing.

    Thanks OP.

Just be aware that memory foam comes in a tonne of different specifications, and on top of that many of the cheaper pillows have a non-memory foam core.

Generally the better quality memory foams are incredibly heavy and feel like putty; however personal preference comes into play as well. Some people prefer a less dense memory foam as it's closer to a "normal" pillow. Many people prefer latex but to me it's like sleeping on a trampoline (not surprisingly latex is a rubber).
