Thanks OP for this info. I suspect once word got out and they get more requests, the offer will get trimmed back to only Business and First Class passengers only! Hope I am wrong, of course.

I've seen a number of travel blogs pick this story up over the last few weeks, but I have to say, I'd be very surprised if QF were happy to encourage economy passengers down to the galley for a leisurely wine tasting! if anyone has a go at this in the near term, let us know how what the outcome is.
