Do note: This only has 1 compatible 3G band (2100mhz) and is missing 3g UMTS 850 (Voda, Telstra) and 900mhz (Optus)

Voice calls will only work on 3G and reception may be sub-optimal in country areas.

If you are an Optus / Virgin user, this phone will be an okay choice as it supports 4G 1800MHz / 2600MHz

If you are a Telstra user, this phone will be a fair to poor choice as it supports 4G 1800MHz only.

If you are a Vodafone user, this phone will be a very poor choice as it does not supports neither 4G 850MHz / 2100MHz, and only 1800mhz.

This information was compiled using data from https://www.whistleout.com.au/MobilePhones/Guides/Will-my-ph…

    • yes, poor band support is always an issue with these chinese phones, and 1800mhz is very congested if that is your only choice. Closure of 2G at the end of this will also alter what bands you get coverage on.

The big pull for people seems to be processor speed per $ which is probably not that important if you can't get the data you want quickly, especially if your phone is also used for tethering tablets or lap tops.

I guess it depends on where you use your phone and the main purpose.

Love my band 28 indoors on optus.

    Dispatch: Ships after 08-11-2016.

Here's the issue I have with this. This is the 3rd 'deal' of this phone being posted. I already put in an order and its been two weeks.

Obviously at this point if its a good 4-5 weeks away…

    • I bought the phone from Tiny Deal. I got an email saying that the handset is not available and there will be delays. No ETA

      • I finally got an email today saying that the phone has been dispatched

Hey, could you post a review after you've aged with it? Cheers

  • I feel somewhat confused as consumer with Pepsi making mobile phones.

It's actually made by Koobee. Pepsi just decided that they want their logo and branding on an Android device.

this phone is the Koobee H7 with several exterior tweaks and software rebrand.

Good marketing on Pepsi's part. It worked for Apple… Juices, sauce, pies ….

        Love it:

"Pepsi has always moved at the speed of culture."

We used to leave them in the incubator for some days after streaking the plates before we began to try and identify the organism…

Think of it like this. If you have three Pepsi's and drink two. How much more refreshed are you?

Not very cause the caffeine and sugar will cause you to want to drink the other two cans. Then you have the urge to poop due to its laxative effects. Refreshed after poopie.

  • What is a 2.5D arc screen?

Who makes this phone? I doubt it was Pepsi itself.

    • The glass is curved at the edges,
      made by koobee I think
