Alternative to Gitup2 ?

Hi all,

I purchased a Gitup2 from gearbest in early June, but have just received a notice of cancelation. Apparently they don't have it in stock, and are unable to fulfil my order.
I am leaving on an overseas trip in early August, and was hoping to take it with me. Very short timeframe now, so before I go out and buy a GoPro Hero 4, I'm wondering if there are any good alternatives to the Gitup2 at a similar price point? I was looking at a few others including the SJCAM, but I thought they were a slightly inferior.

    Instead of spending your time researching for an alternative why not buy the same item from a different Chinese website. I just checked banggood.com seems like they currently have a stock. banggood sells it almost the same price point vs gearbest. That what I would do if im in your position. cheers

      You are very astute! I thought I had checked it out and got a OUT OF STOCK. Turns out I only checked everybuying.net and completely forgot about banggood.

      Pity I won't get the 25% off I had coupon with gearbest (only turned out to be US$105 there), but at this stage I'm willing to take it!

      Although if anyone has a coupon code for banggood please let me know! thanks!

        Be careful as I don't think they will be able to ship in time, could be wrong.

        IME 30 days is usual.

        I hope you havent bought the item yet now. Ive tested out this coupon and still works: (although expires june 29 but still works) fff285 . This brings down the price to just usd 105.00!

        Sorry mate couldve posted it earlier i just assume its expired already. But to my suprise it still works! I know this code because ive own one too. Lol. Were both git2 users and bought mine at banggood few months ago and used that coupon. Let me know how it goes man. Cheers

          No worries. Btw, Dont forget to buy the git2 remote watch. Its pretty useful accessory to git2 And also a spare/extra battery as well and a action cam pov case while youre at it.
