Black Screen of Death Samsung

Hi all,

Anyone know how to fix the black screen of death on Samsung galaxy S5?

I've tried in usual soft reset and removing the battery and holding rge power button to clear all power from the circuit but stillno good and unable to see the screen to do a hard reset. Phone is still working but just cant see anything.

Any help would be great, got the phone from an oz bargain deal less than 12 months ago.

    At the very least, plug it into a computer to back everything up.

    If it was bought locally, you have a 2yr warranty on your side

    Wow? Black screen of death was something I only expected from MS

    Yeah it was a surprise to me, though searching the web it seems to have been common across alot of models.

    Thanks the the reply guys, also have already done a backup on my pc.
