Be a proud noob! (But don't let that extend to forgetting about Cashrewards.)

plus with the super long shipping time….
a lot of their board games come up the cheapest at boardgamesearch, adding 10% discount makes it even better.
Their vita section is good as its hard to come by physical copies in Aus (like $20 Physical Steins Gate is an amazing price, and $56 Zero Time Dilemma which just released 2 weeks ago is great as well)
agreed vita games are so hard to come by here. and there very little discounting with local stores.
Zero Time Dilemma - exactly what I ordered with my 10% off. Looks like I got in just in time since the site now says Out Of Stock.
their previous offer was better cause it was 15% off…
They were 15% off last week, then 10% for a few weeks before that, so it's not a saving…
do they increase their prices before handing out these % off deals?
I don't think so… But they've been at least 10% off their 'normal' prices for quite a while now.
I got Terraria for the Wii U off them for around $32 after discounts and it's selling for $60 at EB Games.
Yes, I can confirm this. As I wanted to buy FE# for Wii U from them two weeks ago and the price was $63.00-ish. But just before 15% discount came out, the price was increased to $69.00.
Just because there were higher discounts in the past it doesn't mean that it's not a bargain now. Unless they're cheaper elsewhere at the moment, it's still a saving.

Just because it 'says' 10% off, does not make it a bargain either…
Agreed. Based on other comments though it seems there are at least some games that are cheap via this deal, so I still think your "it's not a saving" comment is incorrect.

None are listed in the OP's post though…
Pretty much everything else I looked at was cheaper elsewhere…
@jv: So then maybe suggest that rather than saying "they were 15% off last week", "it's not a saving", and "just because it 'says' 10% off, does not make it a bargain"?
I was stating a fact.
The prices at OzGameShop now, are not any cheaper than they have been for over a month, if fact, nearly all the games have gone up in price since last week…
I find the prices at Base.com are a bit better as the AUD to GBP is pretty decent right now. Shipping is £1.50 but they take VAT off all the prices so everything on the site is 15% off essentially. Works out to be a bit cheaper than Ozgame in most cases. Also they use the same shipping (Royal Post) so everything arrives at roughly the same time (for me around 9 days). The advantage to using Ozgame is that they give you player points but you can't use your $5 coupons in conjunction with these 10% off coupons.
huh, VAT is 20%
Yeah, I dunno how they calculate it exactly but they take off around 16-17%.
100/120 = 83.3%
there are so many local retailers being incredibly competitive with price, target have been brilliant and you dont have to wait 5 business days for it to arrive, there are some minor bargains but it would be a lot better if it included the sale items and preorders
It would be an alright deal if I could use my points redemption code on top, but Ozgameshop shot themselves in the foot when they stuffed up their customer base with this crap.
10% is great but are there any actual bargains?
I haven't bought anything from OGS in years since the ownership changed and the bargains disappeared.
