VPN is installed into the browser and is used for free. Has anyone tried it? Does this VPN work in which monitoring from members in the same home network can be circumvented?

It works…most of the time. I use it to browse the US ESPN site because the crappy AU ESPN site keeps on hijacking the US one. Why ESPN? Sometimes webpage won't load though.

Try LIME VPN, I paid US$18 (AUD$22 at time) for 12 months and it's ok. You can configure it for softether which is the open source client. Only problem is that it does not have a kill switch.

Considering that Opera might be bought by some Chinese companies soon, I personally wouldn't bother using their vpn.

I just discovered that the Opera browser has a built in adblocker and a free VPN that can be switched on by going to the Opera Logo and clicking, going to Privacy Settings and choosing enable VPN. It is also a nice clean browser, definitely my new favourite.
Is Opera still going thought it died out 15 years ago or are you referring to an android version not PC?
I had forgotten about it too, I just stumbled across the free VPN feature today and downloaded. It is available for Windows and Android.

I'd rather take the browser from a non-profit (Firefox) or even Google (Chrome).
Good for you :) I'm watching Season 3 of Lucifer on Netflix right now, I have no regrets.
I'm just cautious of phone homes and spyware it never worked that well on PC back then when it was relatively new
