Seems like a decent price for a brand name power bank. 1.0A output.

Brand is worthless got sold off when they went bankrupt

    • 2,600 mah should tell you use worthless it is

      • Would be a single 18650 cell, so I'm not sure I'd call it worthless. Around 72% of what it could be capacity wise. That said, not sure it's worth more than $4 or so. Not uncommon to get single cell powerbanks as freebies these days like you used to get branded low capacity flash drives and pens in the past.

      • mAh are a terrible way to measure the capacity of a battery as is but when you've got cheap brands that flat out lie about the capacity of batteries it's basically worthless.

  • I love having my phone only 66% charged, gonna buy 10

  • $5 for similar at kmart think 2000 not 2600 though.

finally have a consistent use for my xiaomi 20000mah

  • Not worth it as it is 1 amp, you will need a output of 2.1 amps to charge you devices now, 1 amp is not gonna cut it, it will charge 3-5 slower than a 2.1amp output

A true 1A charger would charge at 1/2.1 of the rate of a 2.1A charger, so only 1/2 the speed…

      • Donnot is right, but less than half as fast as a 2.1A charger is not good, particularly as this is a mobile charger…

        • There are plenty of other usages of a small powerbank like this.

  • Its not a good idea to have a output greater than 1 amp on this powerbank, it may try to draw more power thus overheats and may damage the battery

Incorrect. There is no risk, charging systems are smarter than that, it'll just be slower than your wall charger.

      • Depends on the cell. Some can handle rapid discharging, others can't. Either way, they were talking about the powerbank, not phone. Yes the phone will protect its own battery. Had no idea what's going on with the battery in the powerbank though.

1A output, plus it won't be able to charge your device to full anyway makes this a terrible buy, and the "brand-name" counts for nothing. I think dicksmith used to even have cheaper "sales" for 2600mAh at the register when they were closing.

Would be fine for iPhone users though. The 6S has a 1715mAh battery, so this should able to charge one to ~90-100% after all losses while being small enough to fit in your pocket.

      • Good for plenty of phones, actually. All phones, in fact.

See, if your 7.9" Android MegaWankPlus has a 12,000 mAh battery inside, then it won't need recharging as often as a phone with a smaller battery inside. So, the phone with a large battery needs less, not more Powerbank capacity!

At the end of the day, it's 2600 mAh for $7.50 which is a couple of bucks cheaper than what these single 18650 units sell for in Australian retail stores. That is fine for what it is…. if you want more, then you need to carry something larger and more expensive.
