Looks like it is only applicable to domain registration and hosting accounts — that includes business hosting, cPanel, resellers, etc. I just tried and it does not appear to work with VPS. Many moons ago I used to host the bargain blog on Jumba (before they got acquired by AussieHQ) and it was okay. I now have a Virtuozzo VPS with them for 2 months — and it's not too bad too.
Standard practice it seems for alot of hosting companies to offer these savings.. I used to use Jumba but had ALOT of issues from server downtime to overloaded phone support.. some if my clients didnt have websites up for over 3 days a few yrs ago.
They may be better now but I dont forget so easily.
