stock can be a challenge and depends if closer to Kmart or myer ….. myer are good on price matches ….. big W had it for $95 and still shown as $95 on line but no stock in Melbourne store, so price match and off to myers …. that $2.30 savings will fund the cheese burger and soft serve at McDonalds on the way back to the car.

EV3 at $500 per set was on buy 1 get second 1 half price last week in Bris City Myer. ($750 for 2 works out $375 each). At 30% off would be $350 each, that's a good price.
mindstorms is a tricky one ….. yes we ra getting it for $350 on Saturday ….. not many stores stock it …. and if they do it's small quantities as it's not prices as an impulse buy and has limited appeal ….. e.g. nexo knights are on TV ….. ninjago is on TV ……. Mindstorms no TV.

i rang on friday night, was told it starts saturday and they couldn't do 30% off friday night, BUT they put aside Mindstorms for me to pickup on Saturday …. so there is some incentive for my son to come shopping with me and not make it a drama ……. Mindstorms is one of those that not all stores stock, and so isn't often available as discount, e.g. Big W never seem to have it anymore, just Myer. They must have a good relationship with Lego.
Heading in also for Nexo knights, missed out on the Big W toy sale, my 9 year old said they had it the cheapest (castle) at $95 at their toy sale, but at 30% off Myer will be just as cheap but with a bigger range….. and nicer surroundings at the toy section checkout.

What's the chance of myer selling out online and not honoring the sale?
Bit worried about this myself since I ordered Slave 1 online. I know my local had a couple in store but I was being lazy. Wait and see I guess.
I ordered the Brick Bank for Click and Collect (from a store that's like 50km from me) along with one of the Technics sets. Now checking my order the Brick Bank (which was 'in stock') is listed as 'on backorder'. Myer confirmed that stock is taken from 'off the shelf' for click and collect, so by ordering it online, you're not securing anything.
And Myer wonders why they're going down the tube. As a result, i'm cancelling my order for both as i'm not going to take a 2 hour round trip twice to pickup two sets (although one other store may have stock; was sitting on hold to them for 30 f'ing minutes to be told how convenient click and collect is!).
So, tldr version, if you ordered when it said in-stock and it was nabbed by someone else, it'll go to backorder.

Ordered online a brick bank and slave 1 at 630am on 9 July, and today they send me a cancellation of order.
I received the same. I might give them a call and demand a raincheck.
If I knew they won't fulfill the order, I would have made my way to the store.
