I just purchased a $50 starter pack for my Son on special for $30.
When I ported across from Boost, I got 10.5GB and 28 days on the Combo, but when we checked it a couple of days later it had changed to 20GB and 56 day expiry. I couldn't see the 20gb offer in store but when I called up, I found out you can get if you port in.
He mostly uses Wifi but for $30 I'm thinking of using it as backup for my Adsl modem as well.

Vodafone is offering Double credits to new customers who have ported their numbers. My $30 combo plan (2 GB data + local unlimited with 28 days expiry) was upgraded to $60 (4 GB data + Local unlimited +56 days expiry). I called Vodafone and they happily changed the plan to include unlimited international calls for 10 countries.
how did they include that on $30 combo ?
NO idea, I received message that your credits is doubled. I called them and said Local calls were already free in $30 combo what I get extra with $60. They were were happy to include unlimited calls to 10 international countries.
Is this just for the first month or can you recharge it?

Awesome, lucky i saw this post. My current plan was going to expire in 6 days and they screw up; did not extend my expiry to 56 days. Called them up and got the extension for an additional 28 days and double credit.
The CSO i spoke to mention the deal is valid up till 17 July. Worth giving them a call to get it fixed but this is valid for new voda customer who port in from another carrier.
Is this offer valid for a port of a number in to a mobile broadband recharge

She wasn't aware of this offer.
To clarify, does this work if you buy the prepaid from 7/11 only or, can i goto Coles and get it??

I think this was caused by system error.
old plan gives you 4GB extra data and new plan gives you 1GB extra data.
This is my calculation.
$50 sim with old plan gives you 6GB+4GB bones which is 10GB.
New plan gives you 7.5GB+1GB bonus.
The system treated as 7.5GB+4GB bonus+1GB from New plan and 7.5GB as bonus recharge.
Total is 20GB
I think in the future it will be fixed and reduced 16GB.

Did this yesterday and it worked. Double data thing does take 24 hours to tp come on to to the phone but works.
