Hey ppl, need to get myself some some ass - oh sorry I mean assistance. I need to get my gf a go pro coz she is busting my balls for one. I have no idea about go pro's can someone help me. I can't afford shit & am on minimum wage so the cheaper the better but she keeps saying she wants a good one. I asked her if a ps4 would do, she said no!! Help me out please

Since the priority is to get your girlfriend off your back then head into a store today and buy whichever is the cheapest GoPro model you can haggle. The girlfriend's nagging will stop and you'll have a few weeks to save up for the next latest and greatest model.
Also consider buying an older or second hand model.
Does your girlfriend have a hobby which requires it? If she is not sporty + active then get ready to be shocked. Most owners will use their GoPro a few times realise how much of a hassle they are and never use them again. Action camera's are very frustrating to work with. They require expensive GoPro mounts (suction mounts/handlebar/chest/helmet/wrist/gorilla) + poles/selfie sticks + LCD back screens + spare battery + lens adapters … etc.
Most people just don't enjoy spending hours reviewing and editing video and audio, especially on GoPro's buggy software.
It needn't cost a $400 GoPro to work out if she will enjoy the hobby. Start with a $150 cheapie. If she needs more than buy a better one. You can use the first one as a hand me down. Or she can use two cameras at the same time (eg. front + rear camera, front + selfie cam).
She does this thing called aerial hoop & that's why she wants it. Thanks for your reply btw

For aerial hoop, I'd recommend buying the cheapest GoPro you can find.
Search YouTube for the terms "gopro aerial hoop". Have a look at some of the videos. Eg:

It's to do with the limitations of current image sensor + processor technology. Eg. bitrates, rolling shutter speeds, light sensitivity/CMOS sensor size.
To see a worst case scenario watch this spinning video of GoPro attached to a car wheel in night time lighting.In the point of view aerial hoop videos you will notice the performer is easily seen (assuming day time filming in a bright room). Means you can choose a GoPro with any bitrate. All GoPro models also have similar ultrawide field of view.

Existing models (GoPro HERO 4s) will drop in price precipitously, and anything you buy now will just frustrate you (or you alleged girlfriend).
