Hey just wondering what the cheapest way to get 3ds games is i just picked up a cheap 2ds and don't want to spend to much more but need some games to play. Also are there any groups where i can do game swaps or soemthing simmilar

Cheapest way is a R5 Chip, MicroSD card and Torrents
Actually the cheapest way is A9LH & freeShop if you want to go down that route.
Where can i buy one of those from and how do they work?
Just search online for R5 chip - they are mainly sold out of SE Asia. It is basically a cartridge with a MicroSD card slot and software that allows you to emulate games. So you download the games, put them on the MicroSD card and put it in the R5 cartridge. When you turn on your 3DS, you will have a menu with all the games to select from that are on the MicroSD. Been many years since I used a 3DS so technology may have changed as apoptygma has commented above. Probably best to check out the stuff in his comments first.
Any particular games you're after?
looking for animal crossing new leaf maybe mario kart 7 and some old ds games
Gumtree/ebay for second-hand dealings, if you're game enough.
JB and EB have second-hand games as well, but their popular titles are fairly pricey (especially the main Pokemon games).
Also, do remember that DS games will work on the 3DS as well.
