Interesting thought Timmsy, although even if you join a club you still have to buy balls, and often still have to pay (albeit a reduced rate) to hire the court. Plus joining a club doesn't actually mean you'll get to meet new people to play singles, often just lots of doubles team competitions, whereas we solely provide an opportunity to play singles :-)
Sounds like an interesting business model. Although after buying balls for every game and likely court hire somewhere it would be the same or more expensive than just joining up to a club.
