    Before anyone else asks.

Do they sell Gift Cards? Pref VISA Prepaid ones?

When I read the title I thought it was pay $40 to get $200 worth to spend

  • Looks like Syd, Bris, GC only.

1br for 2 nights on Pitt St was $610.

    • Presumably you can use the Gift Cards at other properties in Australia.

Not sure about meriton, but other serviced apartments like Mantra are cheaper through sites like Entertainment Book. Not sure who does the billing, when you book through entertainment book though - I suspect it's a 3rd party.

Split it over 3 cards? But there is probably better value with a hotel website

  • Thanks

  • This didn't work for me. Website told me to try later.

  • Great Thanks OP.

I had a booking for four nights later in the year in Sydney with Meriton. I registered each card and just used the Meriton online payment site to prepay for our stay over 4 different amex cards, saving $160. Thank you.

Note their payment gateway charged 3.1% surcharge for amex where hotel directly is 1.5% I believe, but a bit awkward doing 4 cards over the phone I thought.

  • Do you reckon if I walked into their reception and bought a Gift card, they would accept AmEx? Anyone tried?
