same specs as the Nexus 5X and LG G4 for half the price.

The LG G4 has 3GB ram. But that's not to say that this isn't a good phone, especially for the price.

    • Thanks i'll make an edit.

    • I am assuming its also missing a few LTE bands used by some Aussie carriers, usually the deal breaker for me when I look at the cheaper handsets

      • Almost any overseas phone will miss the Australia-specific 4G phones (specifically the 700MHz one).

The 3GB/32GB version would be more comparable to G4, but Mi4c still lacks sd card slot.

Word of caution from this seller, my order was marked as sent on Tuesday but the tracking number is invalid. Sent 2 messages and haven't got a reply from them.

    • Indeed, and LG G4 has bigger and better 5.5in screen.
Still, great phone for the money!

      • "bigger and better 5.5in screen" hence the poorer battery performance.

        • That much is true. I personally won't get a 5inch now I've lived with the 5.5 of my G4 but yea, battery isn't good

  • Would this make for a decent development phone?

Yeah good to test for mid range devices etc.

just read up a little on MIUI its based on stock android, but for dev a stock nexus phone is also a good option

      • Possible to install the stock android OS or am I stuck on MIUI? I guess what I'm asking is will it make a difference?

        • +1

oh im sure there are lots of Roms, :) http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-4c … just do some reading or put up a few questions im sure someone will point you towards the most stock android rom there is for the phone .. :)

its a very good price though … great specs for the price

  • I assume that this phone only does 4g/3g on Sim1 and only 2G on sim2 two right

  • This is a rip off,
Geekbuying currently has it for ~$157 AUD
I assume it includes shipping, not sure.
    http://promotion.geekbuying.com/promotion/xiaomi_global_shop…

Whatever it's lacking you can't get any other SD808 phone for ~$160
Though personally I'd rather get the fingerprint reader, SD Card slot etc of some of the SD650 phones like the XRN3P

    • How long does delivery from Geekbuying take?

    • Wait what's a rip off? ~$157 AUD is higher than ~$155 AUD.. am I missing something?
The one in your link has sold out now though.

  • This phone gets so warm compared to a Nexus 5. Its disconcerting.

  • Just bought one, hoping it'll go well

Broke my LG G3 so hoping this'll do as a better replacement
