Hi, looking for advice on a nice but simple place to sleep for 1 night before heading up to Mt Hotham.
Will be driving from Adelaide to Melbourne with 6 people. Quick stop in Melbourne (unfortunately need to stop in Melbourne, can't go straight through) and then hoping to hit at least Seymour or wangarata on the first night.
Any suggestions around this area for a couple + family of 4.

We usually stay at Bright the night before heading up to Falls Creek/Hotham at a nice, simple and reasonable place called the High Country Motor Inn. Its on the main road as you come into Bright.
Maybe a bit further than Wanagaratta, but it's a nice little town. Good place to hire your chains and do a last shop before you head up the hill.
Yeah bright would be good. Do they have a woolies or Coles for a click n collect before heading up
