we're heading to UK in a month,
thought it makes sense to get pounds now though whilst dollar is low. Whats the best way to do it? transfer cash to UK bank account? Wire money? Credit card? Travellers cheques?
Best way to convert AUD to GBP

Current speculation reports the dollar to maintain a positive bias over the pound. Perhaps just ride it for a while and see what happens.
If you have a bank account in the UK, transfer with Ozforex, excellent exchange rate
If you don't, you can pre-order your money from foreign exchange companies to lock in a rate once you're happy with it. I wrote about it here
https://thethriftytravellers.com/2016/04/19/tips-on-getting-…great info, thanks folks! :) @kwyst last time we were there we were just using our CBA visa cards to get cash but got slugged $14 a time think, so probably makes sense to do something different anyway. :)
Yeah I mean wait it out as in choose the most cost effective method to convert and wait for the better predicted rate. I believe Citibank have $0 international withdrawals.
