got one when i bought the 1390,but dont know how it works as sometime the road is pack but it does not show on my GPS!

  doesnt this technology work on based on other gps in the area/road. so i guess u just got unlucky with no one on that road using one of these things (which isn't surprising)

    I tested mine today on the Nuvi 265w and it worked fine, showing all the traffic. It works on a FM frequency and gets live updates from the suna traffic channel. It doesn't require other GPS to be in the area.

A big positive for me, thanks for this deal, good price as no way could justify the purchase of this at over $100. Will see how it goes.
