Yes, it's important to know what you're getting. Don't waste money on breakfast cereal that won't be eaten or movies that won't be watched. But I'm not sure it's much different than any other online service like Netflix. On the box it says, "You will then be directed to Google Play to download your movie." Google Play has an advantage that you can watch a movie on multiple devices. Note that you can't download to a computer, only to mobile devices (or Chromebooks), but you can download it to up to five different devices for offline viewing. I think for computers, it's streaming only.

Check the $$ per 100gm. IGA did this promo last month and it was actually cheaper to buy the large box not on special rather than this box.
