The official Twitter app now has multiple accounts. And is free. And does a proper modern repost-with-a-comment. I haven't used Tweetbot in ages and I hope I didn't pay anywhere near $8 for it!
(Edit: Not downvoting the bargain. It's a good bargain compared to it's normal price. But the product isn't worth even the bargain price)
