Right folks so I love a good sandwich at lunchtime and I'm guessing I'm not the only one. So my question to you all is where and what is the best sandwich in Sydney? Now lets not include the franchise type sandwiches ie. Subway etc as there is no real passion or personality to them sandwiches. So folks, what and where is the best sandwich in Sydney?

Big Bite on Pitt Street.
Go there on a Thursday and order the Lamb.
Wow, only took 2 replies for Big Bite to get a mention!! That's the place that inspired my post….used to work beside it and get the Lemon Pepper Chicken on brown Vienna at least twice a week. I miss it so much, no work would be done in the afternoon cos I'd be too full. Thanks cafelife, I'm gonna try Malibu next week, chicken schnitzel it is
Just read the TripAdvisor reviews for Malibu….sounds amazing!! Gonna hike up there tomorrow to try the Chicken Schnitzel now
Might try the places mentioned here.
Little Vienna has always been pretty good.
I haven't eaten every sandwich in Sydney, but Nam Fong on Bankstown City Plaza do mean bánh mì.
I'll second Malibu. Those sandwiches are life changing. The size of a football and packed with yummy, quality ingredients. Haven't tasted a better sandwich in Sydney. Be warned tho, the service can be rude. Can't have everything. Mmmm.
'No soup for you!!!'
City Edge on Reservoir Street Surry Hills can do no wrong.
Malibu near Central, always get the chicken schnitzels
