Looking to buy a projector $800 - $1300 FHD

So I'm looking to get a projector.
I do a bit of traveling, but I still wanna have a big screen. I'd prefer to lug a projector around than a TV.
I'm mainly going to be using it to play the PS3/4*, WiiU, watching movies and TV, have it hooked up to a smart phone/computer.
I'm looking for something that can be set up in a bedroom, so probably about 3m's of distance to work with.
I seen some projectors can have your inputs spilt into 2. So you could watch the footy and game or browse the net at the same time. That would be ideal for me.
I did a lil bit of research, and came across the Epson EH-TW5300 (Epson Home Cinema 2040)
For me, it ticked most the boxes.
Pro's: 24.6 ms input lag
2 year warranty
Cheap lamp replacement $79 (US)
Low fan noise in eco miss
Con's: No lens shift
Loud in full lamp mode
Blacks aren't very deep.
Doesn't split into 2 inputs
For the most part I liked this one, though it's got 3D as well. And I have no interest in 3D. So it seems like a bit of a wasted feature for me.

More or less, I'm wondering if anyone knows if this would suit my needs. And their own personal experiences with this model or something similar.
I'm doing this from the phone, so it's a bit of a pain.
I have no experience with projector's at all.

    You mention portability is key, have you considered a Pico projector or a projector like the Sony MPCL1?

        it has before today。now it has all been sold。i am not sure its brand new or factory second hand because seller didnt reply email。

      I bought it, but the seller still didn't delivery it :(
      In computeruniverse.net, tw5300 sell 530 Euro include shipping currently. There was a promo code to -50 Euro several days ago. So the price was 480 Euro, approximately 700 AUD.
