  • Thanks for the heads up. Time to make me another nappy box tower.

  • Do these usually sell out quickly?

  • first time buying nappies lolz

just wondering if this nappies ever sold at cheaper price than this ?

    • +1

Yes, they can. Very rarely though. Drake IGA in Morayfield, QLD are selling them for $24.99 until the 16 May 2010.

      • Would these be cheaper than the "bulkwarehouse" site?

Sorry, but first time to buy nappies too so want to stock up if they're cheap :D

        • +1

My experience has been sales like this are better than the bulkwarehouse stores like nappy land. Also my kid would get rashes with anything beside huggies or aldi so I stock up for that price.

          • @pravvy: thx ozchick and pravvy !

  • Looking at the boxes, these could be the older nappies. The new ones cost a bit more but have a few more nappies.

    • yep, 3 weeks ago they had same deal, some sizes were the old boxes, some were the new boxes. when that was on, it was a better deal to buy new bigger boxes at woolies for $33.

      • Just saw in the paper (Victoria) that IGA is selling $29.99 as well tomorrow. Last time I bought from them about a month ago on same price, there's a mix between old and new boxes (while I managed to grab all 4 new boxes). Seems a lot of stores still have the old boxes and wants to clear them up.

    • Just bought a couple from the Belco store. They were the new ones with extra 8. Also Johnson's 8 pack of wipes is at $23 which is less than $3 a pack. ALSO, the Tommy Tippee refills are $40, so again good savings for us budget Dad's.

      • Was at Chatswood Toys R Us.
The newborn nappies are old boxes, but the rest have the extra nappies (8/9 extra)

We bought 8 boxes in the end. Saved $12/box according to the receipt.

        • kasumi, how many nappies are in the old vs new Newborn boxes?

Parramatta Toys R Us had new boxes for every kind except Newborn too, so I bought the box with 108 newborn nappies in it.

  • I play World of Warcraft, where can I get man sized ones?

I'll ask your mum when I see her tonight ;)

      • Is that you Uncle Iroamrm?

    • Hahah, Nearly had a wheat-bix come out through my nose I LOLed that hard.

  • Huggies are good but I think for value for money the Aldi nappies are the best. I find them to be of comparable quality to Huggies (without the disney designs) and the toddler size gets you 50 for about $16 - thats $0.32 per nappy.

    • We use both; huggies overnight.. and aldi during day when we can easily detect nappy state.

      • +1. my 2 year old son tends to roll onto his front when he sleeps. The Aldi ones tend to leak overnight if he sleeps on his front, but the Huggies don't, so we can only use Aldi ones during the day.

  • Update from my wife who bought 6 boxes.
Toys r us are happy to sell more than 4 per person, they just need to put them through as separate transactions.
Also, lady told my wife you can change unopened boxes for different sizes (with receipt), which is a good fall back plan in case baby grows faster than expected.
