Coffee is an obsession for dwellers of Sydney, and everyone has their special haunt from which they are rarely wont to stray. You'll hear your friends say "My barista knows exactly how I like it…", "No one brews it better than…" and "For the best coffee you just have to try…". In Sydney, we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to our morning wake-up brew, mid-afternoon cuppa or post-dinner shot – and it’s always fun to try something new!
With today’s Ouffer we're inviting you to sample the coffee and cuisine of Blend on George, where for just $15 you get $30 worth of food and drinks!
With a nostalgic décor reminiscent of cafés past, Blend on George is tucked away under one of the many high-rise buildings lining George Street. You might stumble upon it on your way to the Rocks, or after wandering the entire length of the street on an epic shopping expedition.
Blend is a terriffic place to enjoy a delcious breakfast, lunch, or dinner as well as the perfect cup of coffee. For breakfast, try your hand at an Omelette ($13) or if it sweets you crave, dive into the delectable Pancakes with carmelised bananas ($12). For lunch and dinner, Blend offers a tempting array including a vegetable fritatta ($13), tandoori chicken salad ($16), gnocchi ($18), pumpkin risotto ($17), and veal medallions ($24).
But don't forget the coffee! From the freshness of the beans and the setting on the coffee grinder, to the texture of the milk and the skill with which the barista paints that love-heart shape with froth and chocolate powder, coffee is most definitely an art form, and every element counts for that perfect execution. With customers flocking to Blend on George for coffees that are not only affordably priced (regular-sized lattes start at just $2.80), but are also great tasting (some say it’s the best coffee in Sydney), the Blend baristas have certainly championed the art of the cappuccino.
So whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a cup of joe, head on down to Blend on George. Take advantage of the outdoor seating to soak up some winter sunshine as you eat (or sip) your way to happiness! Take a look at the full menu here.
