Hi, I need to buy a garden shed and have approximately 120k qff points to help pay for it, however Qantas store doesn't offer bunnings gift cards so trying to figure out a way of buying bunnings gift cards as their sheds are more affordable than Mitre 10(theres no masters nearby). PS, not agree a discussion about how more economical it is to use qff points for flights as the shed is a desperate need at the moment :) thanks!
How to Buy Bunnings Gift Cards Using QFF Points
Comments
Maybe Woolworths/Big W sell bunnings gift cards (please check this, as I am not sure if they do). If yes, perhaps you can redeem Wish cards, and use these to buy Bunnings gift cards at Woolworth/Big W.
Myer gift card > Coles Myer gift card > Bunnings gift card (at Coles).
The problem with the above suggestions is that it's usually not possible to buy one gift card with another gift card.
I have heard a few accounts of this lately in this forum. Perhaps a recent development? I was able to buy Ticketmaster gift-cards from Big W, using a Big-W giftcard in the past, with no questions asked. But this was months ago.
Converting from Myer to Coles Myer is hard. But the only alternative is to sell gift cards or points for cash.
Let someone you trust access your QF account and book a flight in their name with the points, or you book it for them and then they give you cash. Then you just change my your QF account PIN.
There is someone on here in the forum classifieds who wants to have 'you' book a flight and they pay you. Anyhow, have a mull.
Westfield gift card > Coles Myer gift card (at Myer in Westfield) > Bunnings gift card (at Coles)
I forgot about the Westfield card on the Qantas store. You could take it to a Kmart or Target in a Westfield who may have a Bunnings card on the shelf.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions!
Considered selling your QFF points for cash, and then using it to buy the shed?
