There are a couple of things - my cups are made of 100% silicone so are very multipurpose e.g. can be put in the microwave to heat things in or poach an egg etc. They can even put in the oven. The ones in the link have plastic parts and so do not have those features and also take up more space. My cups are made of FDA approved silicone whereas you are never sure what you are getting when purchasing on ebay from overseas manufacturers. Then also there is the time frame in which you will receive the product - mine you will get within a few days as a I warehouse them here vs 6 - 8 weeks (as shown in the link you included). Thanks for the advice. I didn't realise that yours were heat proof and i agree that it can be risky with cheap plastics leaching nasty chemicals into food. Thanks for the extra info.
I've always been confused by silicone bakeware and so have never owned any. How do your cups, for instance, compare with this 8 piece set?
Other sets seem much more expensive. Can you give some advice on what differentiates the cheap stuff from the quality and what difference it makes?
