So it's just a UV Torch?

  • Can it be used for stuff other than nits and pee?

Looks like a mini UV light. They're less than half this price basically everywhere.

This is the crap version, usually sold for around $2 USD. The individual LED's burn out very quickly because they're extremely low quality.

There are better ones on Aliexpress. This is a 'Cree' one (although it says Cree brand, I'm fairly certain Cree don't make UV emitters).

This would go perfectly with the urinal. Do you offer a bundle?

The articles I've read said the UV torch needs to be 365 or 385 nm to be able to reliably detect cat pee. Can you please indicate what the value is for this torch.

    This is extremely low quality.

  • +2

yes its extemely low quality and doesn't work. i got one to see if i could see pee easier, actually could see it easier with normal light that one of these.

OP how much did you sell this item for previously? Who actually valued it at $29.99?

  • +3

At this price it's probably just purple coloured light.

As Altomic pointed out - the same item is AU$2.75 delivered from Kai Kai Trading on AliExpress.

So, this is not a bargain at AU$9

Negging because despite courteous inquiry the Store Rep OP, who joined 2 nights ago to sell items from his eponymous website, provides no evidence this is a bargain while other members prove easily it is not one. Store Reps who don't take OzBargain seriously must learn posting spurious "bargains" is counter-productive.
