Hi all

After quite a few years learning tips and tricks to maximise my benefits from airline travel and loyalty schemes, I've created a travel blog - The Champagne Mile - www.thechampagnemile.com

My overall focus will be on how to travel in comfort for minimum cost, including maximising value from frequent flyer points.

I soft launched a couple of days ago on Wordpress platform and am embarking on my journey to become more social media and html savvy! Please have a look if you have a minute and let me know if you have any feedback. You can also 'like' the facebook page (www.facebook.com/champmile) if you are interested in future updates.

Also really interested in any suggestions people might have around how to promote the site effectively, as I am essentially 'starting from scratch'.

  Maybe look at get a more modern looking website, maybe have a look at something like squarespace.

  Great stuff! And thanks for sharing your tips and tricks. I will be reading your blog with keen interest. Whether I can collect enough frequent flyer points to be able to take advantage of the deals is another matter :-) Nevertheless, it is very interesting reading. And the cheap flights info will certainly be useful.

  Thanks for the feedback everyone, I've had quite a few clicks from Ozbargain, so there must be a few others who have had a look :)
  frondono - will take into consideration your feedback regarding website look, though as a newbie to all of this, will stick to Wordpress platform for the short term.
