OW usually price match any Australian retailer. they would price match target. What would be their reason not to price match eBay target?
If it is strictly based on the wording of their lowest price guarantee, I cannot see why not. Ebay is an online store.
Identical products are price matched against online stores but as with any other kind of store, the item must be currently in stock. When price matching online stores we also take into account the added cost of delivery. If the identical product can be purchased and delivered via an online store for a total price lower than the one we are offering, we will beat that total price by 5%.
Note, however, that I have no personal experience to back this up.

Note the word "sale" does not equate to "clearance", so people need to be careful.
Don't quote me on this but as long as it's an identically stocked item and it comes with Australian warranty, stores may be able to price match it. Your safest bet is by looking for a product sold over a big retailer's ebay page (e.g Harvey Norman, good guys, etc) as they tend to include Australian Warranty.
Any online store that sells grey goods (e.g Shoppingexpress or kogan), those products won't be price matched under any circumstance.

You can argue all you want, but if there's a code to get the price down, they don't have to match/beat it.
Oh I see - so they already have it covered. No guarantees, then, but still worth a try. Perhaps some staff, like me, also will not read the page in its entirety :-)
Just point out the part about even if its on sale, and hope the staff will let the price match through(?)
