    This is a hot deal.

I wouldn't touch these unbranded power banks even at $1. Safety is worth a few $. Also, doubt it would be anywhere near 20000mAh, and the cells likely won't last many cycles.

This unit is 0.254kg. It is very light for 20000mAh pack. I wonder what kind of batteries is inside it. Or recycled nuclear material from Chernobyl or Fukushima?
Don't get me wrong. I appreciate the lightweight as airlines are getting mercenary. With a 20000mAh unit, you might even get to power the jet engines in case the primary power supply fails…

    • I paid US$39 for an Anker power bank from Amazon. I bought 2. These things have a 2 year warranty, and are made by a trusted company.

This post, in my opinion, sums up what ozbargain is all about.
    Thank you, altomic.

Utilising non-branded electronics to save money?

No… I don't think this is what the site is all about!

Cannot agree more! Cheap != bargain!!

This is cheap, it's NOT a bargain. A no brand battery will either not work or fail quickly; wasting the $10. It may also damage your phone, or combust, etc.

        Edit: Who upvotes this stuff!?

And this sums up my view on low quality lithium cells/charging circuits. Rare, but far more common in generic banks.

these unknown brands could have poor design/wiring or batteries inside. eg. the xiaomi have premium lithium-ion polymer battery cells, with many levels of protection: temperature resistance, short-circuit prot, input over-voltage prot, auto charger prot, output overcurrent prot, output overvoltage prot, overcharge/over-discharge prot and PTC Protective circuits for the cell. powerbanks are cheap enough these days, no need to take the risk

  • probably 5000mAh.

  • Out of stock

  • Good luck….

Hahahaha you have to laugh at china sometimes.

There is NO way this could be 20,000mAh.

The highest capacity lithium ion battery in any chemistry is 3600mAh with 10a draw discharge. True rating would be 35750mAH~

So technically this would be housing 5 of these but they would be running in a series making it lose capacity. So 1 would be running at 3600mAh and the rest at 2800mah~.

China doesnt understand that when running 3 x 1500mAH batteries in a series doesnt make it 4500mAH, its still 1500mAh but has higher power output not capacity as you cant drain 1 battery then the other. They all drain at the same time equally otherwise they would go critical.

Now we do the maths, 3600mAh cell at wholesale is around $5-6USD depending on brand. 5 x 5 = $25USD before even starting.

    This is selling for $11??
